We Need School Resources: Keen4Gambia Has Helped Us

BFiG Busumbala Nursery School has been open since the start of October 2023 and our wonderful teacher Mariama Fatty has been teaching our children with virtually no resources other than chalk and a chalk board. It has been clear that we need school resources.

But thanks to the kindness of Keen4Gambia and Jaine Keen, we now have the beginnings of a resource bank which Mariama can use with her pupils. Keen4Gambia has donated books, toys, cupboards, pencils, chalk and much more. Mariama also has a teacher desk and chair which she is very happy about.

‘Uncle’ Lamin Barrow has spent the last couple of days collecting the donations from the Keen4Gambia shop and transporting them to BFiG Busumbala Nursery School. He’s also arranged to have an additional door added to our Resource Room to help keep our materials secure.

This is just the beginning. We need school resources. Please contact me if you feel you are able to help.
