There’s a lot happening at BFiG Busumbala Nursery School right now — and in this new video, I talk through all the next big steps. And trust me… there are quite a few!
From strengthening our monthly income so we can continue paying our two wonderful teachers, Mariama (Sibo) Fatty and Mariama (Aja) Jaiteh, to preparing to open our third and final classroom, the vision is growing. We are building something sustainable in Busumbala — not just classrooms and walls, but opportunity, stability and hope for local families. Every improvement we make directly impacts the children who greet us each morning with “I saama!” and leave calling “Fo saama!”
We Need Businesses, Companies & Schools to Get Involved
Individual donations have carried us this far — and we are incredibly grateful. But to secure the school’s long-term future, we now need partnerships with:
- Businesses
- Companies
- Corporate sponsors
- More UK schools
- Community organisations

- Employ a third teacher
