Shiny New School T-Shirts

In many Gambian schools, Fridays are special. They’re full of colour, pride and a sense of belonging, because that’s the day children wear their new school t-shirts.
Today, it was finally BFiG Busumbala Nursery’s turn!

Thanks to our brilliant School Manager, ‘Uncle’ Lamin Barrow, the brand-new BFiG t-shirts arrived at the school this morning. The children could hardly wait to try them on! There were smiles, giggles, tugging at sleeves, and proud little faces showing off their fresh new look.

While the children look amazing, these shirts represent something even bigger: a community coming together to build a future.
Alongside our current school boundary wall project, we are constantly working behind the scenes to keep the BFiG Busumbala Nursery open, staffed and thriving. That means:
