More Resources for the School: Thank You Chris Sylla
Lots of gratitude to Chris Sylla who has arranged the delivery of suitcases containing exercise books and learning resources for teacher Sibo Fatty and the children of BFiG Busumbala Nursery School. Here are a few photos of the children with their new alphabet tiles (I’ve used a bit of AI to improve the quality of a couple of the photos). Thank you Chris Sylla.
Chris has been a friend of BFiG Busumbala Nursery School since January 2024 and has already worked hard to raise money for the installation of a tap at the school. More news on that as it happens. Chris continues to support the school and you’ll be hearing more about her in the future. A couple of days ago, I sent out money raised by Mark Chidler and his daughter Helen. That money will be used to paint the now completed third classroom and then give the whole school a new shiny coating of paint. Look out for photos after the ‘rainy’ season.
And, of course, all the monies raised above have been donated by YOU. So thank YOU for your kindness and your willingness to make a difference to the lives of the youngest school children in Busumbala Village in The Gambia.
