How To Donate
There are a variety of ways in which you can support us financially.
Our preferred methods are through our Just Giving Page and our Text Giving Number.
Our Just Giving Page can be found at https://www.totalgiving.co.uk/donate/building-futures-in-the-gambia. It gives you the option of making a single one of payment or you can choose to make a regular payment either weekly, monthly or at other intervals. You are also given the option of choosing Gift Aid. This means that the UK Government will add an extra 25% to you donation. All you have to do is say “Yes”.
Just Giving can also be used to set up a Fund Raiser page for our charity. Simply follow the instructions at https://www.totalgiving.co.uk/charity/building-futures-in-the-gambia. You can see examples of previous fund raisers on this page.
We have a shop front at https://www.fluidic.co.uk/c/6050/building-futures-in-the-gambia where we are currently selling our 2021 Calendar. Keep an eye on this shop front for more products in the future.
You can also pick up your phone and text CLASSROOM 3 to 70480 to donate £3. Or text CLASSROOM 1 or CLASSROOM 2 or CLASSROOM 10 or any amount up to 20. Texts cost your donation amount plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to donate but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text CLASSROOMNOINFO 3 to 70480. Once again, adding Gift Aid is a simple part of the process.
Our latest donation method is our brand new (and long time coming) Facebook Donate Button. If you follow us in the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/bfigcharity then you will regularly see a Donate button appear on our posts. It’s very easy to use and allows Facebook to take a donation on our behalf. You can also create a Facebook Fund Raiser for us by simply following the “Raise Money” instructions on our page.
If you wish, you can donate straight to our PayPal account by using our email address email@example.com
Due to the pandemic, it has been impossible for us to run our usual fund raising events. Anything you can donate will really help us to continue and complete the Busumbala Nursery School Project.
