Classroom 3 Construction Completes Part 2: Thank You For Your Help

Work on the completion of BFiG Busumbala Nursery School classroom 3 continues. The concrete floor is now dry and the builders are tidying up the frames around the recently installed door and window shutters. Work has also started on the porch area at the front of classroom 3. This is because of your support. Thank you for your help.

‘Uncle’ Lamin Barrow is overseeing all building work and will be ensuring that classroom 3 is completed before the 2024 rainy season really kicks in.

Future building projects, classroom resources and paying staff all require funding. ‘Building Futures in The Gambia’ is currently sailing dangerously close to the wind with regards to its own finances…or lack of them. We’re currently just about covering staff costs but, when pupil numbers increase (and they will), we are currently unable to fund a second teacher.
