Busumbala Nursery School – Update 23/12/2020
Over the past two days, Lamin Barrow and painters have been working hard to complete the second classroom at Busumbala Nursery School.

In the photos below, you can the the fully completed Busumbala Nursery School Classroom 2 alongside Classroom 1, the Head Teacher’s Office, resource room and (just out of shot) the toilet block. The video and photos were sent to me by Lamin Barrow today.
We are so proud of what we’ve achieved so far. It’s taken a long time to get to this point.We know that the Village Development Committee is aiming to have children start after Christmas. Sadly, the Busumbala Alkalo (village leader) very recently passed away so the VDC is currently having to focus on electing a new leader.
This now leaves Classroom 3 to be built. The concrete floor needs to be laid first.The new floor should cost approximately £230 with current exchange rates.
