🌟 A Solo Superstar at Busumbala Nursery!
Prepare for a dose of pure joy! One of our pupils at BFiG Busumbala Nursery School has taken centre stage to perform the school song all by herself — and it’s absolutely wonderful. She’s a solo superstar!🎤💛
She sings with pride, confidence and excitement, capturing everything our school stands for: growth, happiness and a love of learning. Watching her makes you realise just how powerful education can be when children feel safe and supported.
👀 Spot the Clue: Something New Has Arrived!
A few days ago, I hinted that something brand new had appeared at the school — and you could just about glimpse it in the background of a video. Well, the clues are getting bigger and clearer!
Thanks to these latest photos and video sent by our fantastic teacher Mariama Fatty, you might notice that we now have two classrooms fully in action. More pupils are learning, singing, counting and playing simultaneously. 🎨📚
And somewhere in those photos is a new and very important resource that’s helping us achieve this. Can you spot it? Keep guessing… the surprise reveal is coming very soon!
🌾 Lamin: School Manager, Community Leader & Farmer 🌍
While school life continues to buzz with energy, our School Manager ‘Uncle’ Lamin Barrow is currently back in his home village, Sankandi. But don’t imagine him resting — Lamin is hard at work harvesting a huge rice field that he has spent months growing.
This harvest feeds his family, supports others in his village and reminds us how deeply he works for the good of his community. 💪🌾
We’ve attached a video of his rice field — it’s vast, green and full of life. Just like our school, it’s a symbol of growth through patience, care and commitment.
